President Kiir Swears In Newly Appointed Government Officials

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has officially sworn in a number of newly appointed government officials during a ceremony held in Juba.
The officials who took the oath of office include Hon. Changkuoth Bichiok Reath as Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology; Hon. Madut Biar Yel as Presidential Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Region; and Ms. Josephine Achiro as a member of the National Elections Commission.
The appointments are expected to enhance the government’s capacity in higher education, strengthen South Sudan’s regional diplomatic engagement, and reinforce the country’s electoral institutions as preparations continue for the upcoming elections.
The swearing-in ceremony underscores the government’s commitment to improving public service delivery, promoting regional cooperation, and supporting credible electoral processes.
