Governor Adil Inspects Progress of Lou–Referendum Road Project

Central Equatoria Gov. Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Monday inspected the ongoing Lou–Referendum Road Project in Juba to assess progress, compliance with engineering standards and the project’s implementation timeline.
The inspection focused on the quality of ongoing works and whether construction is progressing according to the planned schedule.
The project is being funded under the Presidential Special Programmes initiated by President Salva Kiir Mayardit. Implementation is overseen by the Office of the Presidential Special Programmes under the Senior Presidential Envoy.
The inspection team included Central Equatoria State Minister of Roads and Bridges Latio Paul, Juba City Mayor, the deputy mayor for infrastructure, the commissioner of Juba County and members of the state technical team.
The road covers 5.6 kilometers, extending from Lou through Hai Referendum and connecting to Bilpam Road.

The project is part of ongoing efforts to improve road connectivity and urban infrastructure in Juba and surrounding areas.
