Ministry of youth and sports call for support in football activities in South sudan

The National Ministry of Youth and Sports calls for support in football activities in the country. The call came as the South Sudan football federation convinced it three days’ football competition season annual review 2026-2027 on Friday in JubaUnder the theme “Together, we rise”.
In her opening remarks, the National Minister of Youth and Sports,Hon. Atong Kuol Mayang Juuk,emphasizes the improvement of football infrastructure in South sudan.
Atong says that despite whether her Ministry is getting a small amount of money to fund football activities in the country, they will work hard to make sure that more funding is available for sports activities in the country.
She urged the South Sudan football federation members to come out with concrete resolutions in the three days discussion in order to address all the challenges they are undergoing in football activities in South sudan.
Franchise Amin, President South Sudan football federation,outcry concerning the welfare of the players during training and in international football games as the face budget constraints to facilitate the player in the local and international arena.
Amin urged the Ministry of Youth and Sports to stand with SSFF in advocating the importance of football by raising concerns to sports committees in the National Legislative Assembly for football to grow in the country.
The three days workshop aims to find and address challenges facing the South Sudan football federation.
