South Sudan Proposes $1.9Bn 2021/2022 fiscal Year Budget

South Sudan’s government has agreed a proposed budget of 613 billion South Sudanese Pounds ($1.8 billion) for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
The amount was agreed by the cabinet of ministers in a meeting on Wednesday, Baba Medan, the Deputy Information Minister told reporters in Juba.
Of the estimates, 544 billion ($1.6 billion) will come from oil revenue, 58.2 billion ($172 million) from non-oil revenue and 11.1 billion ($32. 9 million) from borrowing and support from donors, Medan said.
