,Airo-Jet Airlines Company Limited has officially launched its branch in Yambio, becoming one of the airlines providing scheduled passenger flights between Juba and Yambio.
Speaking during the launch, Yambio Branch Station Manager Taban Charles said the airline will operate flights every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a one-way ticket priced at US$140, making air travel more affordable for passengers.
“We are now selling and booking tickets at a fixed price of US$140,” Charles said.
Ticketing Officer Ayen Maker said the company opened the Yambio branch to improve air transport services and strengthen connectivity between Western Equatoria State and Juba.
Residents welcomed the new airline, saying the US$140 fare is more affordable than previous ticket prices and will increase competition while improving air transport services in the state.
Airo-Jet Airlines said it is committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable air transport services and has encouraged travelers to book their flights through its Yambio office.
