Yei Joint Stars FC Inspired by Deputy Governor’s Encouragement Ahead of CECAFA Qualifiers

Yei Joint Stars FC has expressed its sincere appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State, Hon. Poulino Lokudu Obede, for hosting the club and offering words of encouragement ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.

The club said the Deputy Governor’s guidance and motivation had greatly inspired the team’s players, popularly known as the Super Queens, as they prepare to represent South Sudan in the regional tournament. The players pledged to embrace his advice both on and off the pitch as they aim to make the country proud.

The delegation was led by Club President Eng. Lemi William James and included Secretary General Mabe Clement, members of the Executive Committee, the coaching staff, and the technical team.

Yei Joint Stars FC also extended its heartfelt gratitude to its partners—Larry Investment Co. Ltd, Horizon IT Solutions Ltd, and Trueline Africa Limited—for their unwavering support, which continues to strengthen the club’s development and the growth of women’s football in South Sudan.

The club reaffirmed its commitment to advancing women’s football and representing South Sudan with pride on the regional stage.
