SSIRA Launches First Examinations After Six-Month Revenue Administration Training

The South Sudan Institute of Revenue Authority (SSIRA) on Monday officially launched its first-ever examinations, marking a major milestone in its efforts to develop a skilled and professional workforce for the country’s revenue sector.
The examinations come after the successful completion of a six-month training programme that equipped participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in revenue administration, taxation, and related fields.
According to the Institute, the examinations are designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and competencies gained by trainees throughout the programme. The assessment will determine their readiness to graduate as the inaugural cohort of SSIRA-trained professionals.
The launch of the examinations underscores the Institute’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and producing qualified professionals capable of improving tax administration, enhancing revenue collection, and supporting efficient public service delivery in South Sudan.
The graduation of the first cohort will represent a landmark achievement for SSIRA, reflecting its growing role in advancing professional excellence and building a modern, effective revenue administration system in the country.
