Julius Malema wants to confirm whether or not Queen Elizabeth II is dead.
Queen Elizabeth became Queen of England in 1952 and died in 2022 however, Julius Malema who heads Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party, one of the opposition groups in South Africa says he wants to travel to the UK and go to the grave of Queen Elizabeth II to confirm that she is really dead.
Julius Malema was set to travel to the UK this week for that mission but he was informed four hours before boarding his flight that he was not going to be issued with a visa. Mr. Malema was also scheduled to address students at Cambridge University.
EFF has condemned the denial of visa for Mr. Malema, saying their leader’s mission to the UK was very important “to confirm that she has indeed died so that our people can find justice and peace through her departure.” referring to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
