Founder Reiterates Call for Support as Wunrok School Serves Over 500 Learners
By Deng Athian
The management of Wunrok Nursery and Primary School in Warrap State has renewed its appeal to the government, development partners, and well-wishers for support to improve the school’s infrastructure and learning environment.
The school currently serves more than 500 learners but continues to face significant challenges, including inadequate classroom space, poor infrastructure, and shortages of teaching and learning materials.
The school’s founder, Mr. Deng Mawel Deng, urged national leaders, particularly the Office of the Vice President for the Service Cluster and the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Special Programs, to support the institution in addressing these challenges.
He emphasized that investing in classrooms, school facilities, and essential scholastic materials would improve access to quality education and create a more conducive environment for both learners and teachers.
“Our children deserve a safe and supportive learning environment. With additional classrooms and learning materials, we can provide better educational opportunities for every child,” Deng said.
The school management also appealed to humanitarian organizations, development partners, private institutions, and individuals to contribute toward strengthening the school’s capacity to serve the growing number of learners.
