Energy Minister Receives Courtesy Visit From Former Presidential Affairs Minister

Minister of Energy and Dams Agok Makur Kur received a courtesy visit Monday from former Presidential Affairs Minister Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro at his office in Juba.

The two officials exchanged views on issues of public interest during the meeting, which the ministry described as part of continued social and national engagement.

Bakasoro commended Makur for his work at the Ministry of Energy and Dams and encouraged him to continue his efforts to serve the public and advance the country’s energy and dams sector.

Makur welcomed the visit and thanked Bakasoro for the engagement, saying continued interaction among national figures was important.

Bakasoro previously served as South Sudan’s minister of Presidential Affairs.
