South Sudan Appoints N’sengi Biembe Christian as New Bright Stars Head Coach

South Sudan has appointed Congolese-Belgian tactician N’sengi Biembe Christian as the new head coach of the senior national football team, the Bright Stars.
Biembe has signed an initial one-year contract, with an option for an extension depending on his performance with the national team.
The experienced coach is reportedly set to earn about $12,500 per month as South Sudan seeks to strengthen the Bright Stars and improve their competitiveness on the continental and international stage.
Biembe brings experience at both club and international level and is expected to provide fresh direction to the national team as the country continues its efforts to develop football and build a more competitive squad.
His appointment comes as the Bright Stars prepare for their upcoming international fixtures. Biembe is expected to take charge during the next FIFA international window, when South Sudan will travel to face Malawi before hosting Egypt next month.
The new coach will be tasked with guiding the Bright Stars through the upcoming fixtures while laying the foundation for sustained progress in future African and international competitions.
