South Sudan made a statement with a dominant win over Morocco, securing a convincing 82-66 victory. From the opening tip-off however, South Sudan started the game on a slow note with Morocco leading Quarter one by 23-20. The team came out aggressive, both offensively and defensively for the second Quarter which defense stifled Morocco’s shooters. By halftime, they had built a good lead, taking a narrow 36-34 advantage into the locker room.

The second half saw South Sudan continue to roll, with several players stepping up to deliver crucial baskets, moving the ball quickly around the floor, and they capitalized on fast breaks where they dominated Morocco by 64-47 heading into the third Quarter.

The Moroccan team, while not lacking in effort, struggled to keep pace with the high tempo set by South Sudan and the lead only grew as the game wore on. When the final buzzer sounded, South Sudan had claimed an impressive 82-66 win, sending a message to the rest of the competition.

South Sudan Vs Mali.

South Sudan continued their remarkable run, securing an impressive 85-60 win over Mali in their second game of the competition.Mali simply couldn’t get anything going. South Sudan’s defensive pressure made it hard for Mali to execute their offense.
