President Kiir restructures SPLM national leadership
President Salva Kiir restructured on Wednesday the leadership of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).
The number of secretaries at the national secretariat has risen to 9 from the previous 8.
Santo Malek Anei, retains his position of Secretary for Political affairs, Mobilization and Organization and is deputized by Michael Majur Achol.
Jashinto Bakony Genye, the Secretary for Administration and Finance will be deputized by Chan Mator Deng. Bol Makueng Yuol was re-appointed Secretary of External Relations with Angelina Makiir Bith as his deputy.
Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa, was appointed Secretary for Culture, Information and Communication and is deputized by Jimmy Atilio Machar.
John Oryem Ernest was appointed Secretary for Research and Training while Makuach Deng Kuol becomes his deputy, Mary Paul Ngundeng, Secretary for Popular and Syndicated Organization and Deng Mador Kuol was appointed Deputy Secretary for Popular and Syndicated Organization.
Other appointees include, Peris Keji Kenyi Elia, Secretary for Social Welfare, Margaret Gola Awilio, Deputy Secretary for Social Welfare, Kuol Atem Bol, Secretary for Caucus, and Betty Martin Apugi, Deputy Secretary for Caucus Affairs and Gatkuoth Biem Nyok was appointed Secretary for State affairs.
The five newly appointed advisors include, John Dabi the Advisor for Political Affairs, George Andrea Juma, Advisor for Popular and Syndicated Organization,Lual Achuek L.Deng the Advisor for Economic Affairs, Ajok Wol Atak, the Advisor for Investment and Goc Makuach Mayol the Advisor for Administration.
