SSFF Inspects Site for Proposed FIFA-Standard National Technical Centre

South Sudan Football Federation President Francis Amin Michael on Wednesday led a delegation to inspect ongoing site clearance and leveling works for the proposed National Technical Centre in Nesitu, Lokiliri Payam, Juba County.

Amin was accompanied by SSFF First Vice President Makur Majok, members of the federation’s Board of Directors, Secretary General, the Executive Director of Lokiliri Payam, the lead project engineer, local chiefs and community elders.

The delegation inspected initial earthworks, including bush clearing, grading and leveling of the site ahead of the planned construction of the facility.

During the inspection, Amin said the project will be officially launched once regulatory requirements and infrastructure standards set by FIFA, the world governing body for football, have been met.

The proposed center is expected to provide a permanent facility for football development and training in South Sudan.

According to the SSFF, the National Technical Centre will serve as a hub for identifying and developing young football talent across the country.

The facility is also expected to provide national teams with high-performance training grounds, conditioning facilities and medical support as they prepare for international competitions.

The project aims to modernize football infrastructure in South Sudan and bring facilities closer to international standards.

The federation described the proposed center as a major step toward long-term player development and strengthening the country’s capacity to host regional football competitions.
