Police to Investigate a cause of building collapse that leave one person dead

Police are still investigating the cause of collapse a four-floor tower in Hai thoura residential area that has claimed a life of one person leaving five others injures, on Thursday 6th July, 2023 in Hai thoura residential area, Central Equatoria State.
Daniel Justin Buolo,the spokesperson of police who spokes with Juba Echo says that they are still investigating whether the cause of collapsing was from engineers who constructed the building or not.
“On Thursday morning, a four-floor tower which was still under construction in Hai thoura residential area in central equatoria state, Juba collapsed leaving five people wounded and one person dead. Yesterday the rescue teams arrived on the scene and found out five people were injures and one person lost his life on the process. They work of rescuing teams was very low.’’ Police spokesperson, said.
He revealed that the survivors of collapse four-floor tower in Hai thoura residential area are still in Gieda military hospital.
Yesterday, a building under construction in the Hai- Thoura suburb of Juba on Thursday afternoon caved in leaving one person dead and five others injured.
According to Steven Taban, a construction worker on the site told The Juba Echo that undisclosed number of workers got trapped under the debris.
