Over 200 pupils to benefits from a school feeding in Luri Rokwe

A school feeding program that was started by Trinity Energy in November 20th last year is improving and boosting the performances of pupils in Holy Mary nursery and primary school and which has increased enrollment and attendance of pupils.
The head teacher of holy Mary Nursery and Primary school, Elia Yuku says the program promotes interest of the pupils in learning because a meal is important
“once the children hear that there’s feeding program in a school they will come and join the school and this also they feel interested in learning because once they feel hungry then know there will be food later to feed on “
Trinity energy representative says education plays a critical role in shaping the future, she however assures the community of Luri Rokwe of continuous support and collective efforts to uplift the children and persuade them to learn.
“we firmly believe in transformative power of education, in a pursuit of creating meaningful impact ,trinity energy partnered with this school in November 2022, providing vital support ranging from food items for an entire year, feeding materials ,sports items classroom renovations to essential stationary ,a total of one hundred pupils have benefited from these initiatives “
