South Sudan, Kenya Hold High-Level Bilateral Meeting in Nairobi

South Sudan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Akuei Bona Malwal, departed Juba on Sunday for Nairobi, Kenya, to participate in the Second Bilateral Ministerial High-Level Meeting between the two countries.

The Deputy Minister was accompanied by National Revenue Authority Commissioner General Amb. Moun Deng Ajuet and a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The high-level meeting is expected to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation between South Sudan and Kenya, including trade and South Sudan’s engagement with the East African Community (EAC).

The delegation was seen off at Juba International Airport by Amb. Agnes Adlino Orifa Oswaha, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the two countries to review bilateral relations and explore ways to strengthen economic and regional cooperation.
