President Kiir Receives DPOC Briefing as Oil Production Surpasses 100,000 Barrels Per Day

President of the Republic, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, today received a briefing from the management of Dar Petroleum Operating Company (DPOC) on the company’s operational performance, with officials reporting a significant increase in crude oil production and continued investment in national development.
During the meeting at the Presidency in Juba, the DPOC management informed the President that crude oil production in Blocks 3 and 7 has increased from 90,000 barrels per day to more than 100,000 barrels per day, surpassing the company’s annual production target and reaching its highest output level in the past three years.
“We have more than 170 producers or wells, which have been reactivated, and the total available producers are about 720. Online producers have hit 705, the highest record of DPOC, ” the company’s president said.
