Northern Bahr El Ghazal state runs out of birth certificate forms

The Northern Bahr El Ghazal state Ministry of Health is unable to issue out birth certificate forms to the public.

Hassan Bol Abdallah, the Medical Commission Director in the Ministry of Health, said on Thursday that they have issued out to nearly 200 students since June, leaving them with no birth certificate forms.

“We have realized that the parents never access the forms with the children early. They just shy away from coming to get the forms till the time for the primary and secondary school candidate exam,” he told journalists in Aweil town.

Bol advised students and parents to consult early with hospitals to secure birth certificates.

 “We are urging the school administration to inquire from the students about their date of birth so that the forms are filled out successfully before time elapses,” Ater Ather, state director for quality assurance in the ministry of health said.
