South Sudan to join the world in marking international anti-corruption day
South Sudan will on Friday join the rest of the world in celebration of international anti-corruption day according to the country’s Anti- Corruption Commission.
South Sudan’s Anti-Corruption Commission says the day will be celebrated under the theme; your role, your right. Say no to corruption, your no counts!”
The day seeks to highlight the rights and responsibilities of everyone including states, government officials, civil servants, law enforcement officers, media representatives, the private sector, civil society, academia, the public and youth in tackling corruption.” Reads part of a statement by South Sudan’s Anti-Corruption Commission seen by Juba Echo.
South Sudan Anti-Corruption Act came into existence in 2009.
This year’s celebration is scheduled for Crown Hotel on Friday December 9th.2022 from 9am-12noon
