SSRA reminds taxpayers of Sept. 15 deadline for August tax obligations
The South Sudan Revenue Authority is reminding taxpayers that Sept. 15 is the deadline for filing and paying tax obligations for August 2026.
The SSRA’s Domestic Tax Division urged all taxpayers to submit and pay their monthly and quarterly tax returns by the deadline to remain compliant with tax regulations.
The authority also called on taxpayers to clear outstanding tax arrears resulting from audits, collection and enforcement assessments, as well as any unpaid liabilities from previous tax periods.
Businesses were further reminded to ensure they are registered with the SSRA and have a valid Tax Identification Number.
The revenue authority encouraged taxpayers not to wait until the deadline and warned that applicable penalties or enforcement measures could be imposed for noncompliance.
The filing and payment deadline for August 2026 tax obligations is Sept. 15, 2026.
