SSFA to appoint new head coach for the national women team

South Sudan Football Association is set to appoint Moroccan Karouane Sidi Mohammed as the head coach of the national woman’s team.

The Moroccan will replace Shilene Booysen who left the position early this year after the association declined to renew her contact.

It’s not clear how many years the contract offered to the Moroccan is.

It’s reported, he will travel with the team to Egypt for the upcoming AFWCON but will not be on the touchline.

South Sudan plays Egypt in a two legged first Preliminary round for 2024 Africa Woman’s Cup of Nations qualifiers on 20th and 24th September.

Both games will be played in Cairo as South Sudan is yet to complete it’s only Stadium in Juba.
