South Sudan, UAE Reaffirm Commitment to Stronger Bilateral Cooperation

South Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Amb. Dr. James Pitia Morgan, held a bilateral meeting with the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of State for African Affairs, H.E. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the implementation of existing bilateral agreements and discussed ways to deepen collaboration in diplomatic training, capacity building, technical cooperation, trade, investment, and other areas of mutual interest.

Both sides agreed to enhance institutional cooperation, maintain close coordination on shared priorities, and accelerate the implementation of existing agreements aimed at delivering tangible benefits to both nations.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the longstanding partnership between the Republic of South Sudan and the United Arab Emirates, with both governments expressing their commitment to further expanding bilateral relations across key sectors.
