South Sudan Starts Processing Work Permits Online

South Sudan is urging foreigners to apply for work permit online.

James Hoth Mai, the African Nation’s Minister for Labor and Industrial Relations said that the online application for work permit is part of the government’s efforts to implement e-government services.

 “The Ministry of Labor is pleased to inform the public that today July 1, 2021 the work permits will be processed online and it is mandatory,” Mai told journalists in Juba on Thursday.

Mai said they aim to serve the public efficiently online and as well avoid applicants overcrowding like in the past at the Ministry of Labor offices.
