South Sudan-Kenya discuss bilateral matters
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Amb. Dr. James Pitia Morgan has assured of its commitment in strengthening and depending its relationship with Kenya.
Morgan met with the Kenyan Head of Mission to the Republic of South Sudan on Monday.
He called on the Kenyan government to support South Sudan in its up-coming election.
The Kenyan Head of mission Amb. Maj. Gen. Samuel Nandwa has affirmed their position to further deepen and make better relations between the two countries amid the world natural crises.
He emphasised the importance of convening the second Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC) in Juba, which will enhance bilateral relations. “This is important as many items will be discussed,” he added.
