Rubkona county commissioner to spearhead efforts for peace among IDPs and host community
The newly appointed Rubkona County Commissioner Kathare Juol Dador has promised to work to unite the internally displaced persons and the host community.
“There will be peace and unity regardless of political agendas and where you come from, your safety is one priority,” Dador said on Sunday while visiting IDPs and the host community in Rubkona town.
Dador was appointed last week as Rubkona County Commissioner. The commissioner was received by Jagei community, Leek community and Upper Nile community in the protection of civilian site.
He promised to secure peace between Rubkona County and neighboring counties of Unity state.
“I am here for peace and unity, our relationship with neighboring counties will remain as it is, let us all promote peace,” he said.
Rubkona County borders Koch County, Guit County and Mayom County and Parieng County.
Rubkona County is represented by the largest opposition party Sudan People’s Liberation Movement –in opposition (SPLM-1O).
