Kush Bank staff in Juba welcomed Mr Geoffrey Kiiku as new CEO.

Geoffrey Kiiku, replaces former acting CEO Rayan Ogrady who resigned in April.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony at the bank premise, board member Michar Mangom Awic said it’s a new era for bank as they welcomed the new CEO.

“This is a new era and we have to work with all our energy so that we deliver, I want to advise you today that he is your boss respect him,” Michar Mangom Awic said.

Mr. Michar urged the staff of the bank to avoid grouping in the bank and cooperate with the new CEO in order to Forster the development of the bank.

“I don’t want any grouping, do your work and don’t fight each other because the only goal is to achieve Kush Bank goals,”

On his part, Deng Tout the vice chairman board of directors at Kush Bank urged the new CEO to implement the banks vision of becoming the best banking institution in the country.

“We welcome you to Kush Bank, as my colleagues have spoken, you have two roles we had to chose you because of your experience you have in the banking sector and we believe you will drive us to great achievements,” Deng Tout

The new CEO said he was greatful and excited to join a new and vibrant bank in South Sudan.

“I extend my gratitude to the board of directors and the staff for the warm welcome,” Geoffrey Kiiku said

Mr. Geoffrey Kiiku stressed his commitment and believe to make Kush Bank attain it’s objective of being among the best bank in the country.

I believe Kush Bank can be the best bank in South Sudan and I urgent all of you to work with me in order to claim our position in the market as we need it,”

Geoffrey Kiiku who has 29 years experience in the banking sector previously worked with Stanbic Bank and Horizon Bank in South Sudan.
