Immigration police increases cost for ordinary passport

The Directorate for Civil Registry, Nationality, Passport and Immigration on Tuesday announced increase in cost for ordinary passports from 4,500 to 66,380 South Sudanese Pounds.
“This notice serves to inform that the new financial Act 2022 to 2023 has increased the charges, the increment charges are going to be implemented with effect from November 29, as directed by the Director General for Civil Registry, Nationality, Passport and Immigration,” said Maj.Gen Chier Mayar during press conference in Juba.
In addition, he disclosed that naturalization by marriage costs 232,330 SSP and naturalization by resident certificate costs 497,850 SSP.
Mayar said nationality certificate now costs 3319 SSP, identity certificate 3319 SSP and then replacing lost nationality identity certificate costs 6638 SSP, Business Passport 165,950 SSP and Diplomatic Passport 132,750 SSP.
