Government suspends four airline companies

Locally operating airline companies with EY registration documents have been suspended from operating in South Sudan according to the country’s transport minsiter, Madut Biar Yel. The registration EY means the aircrafts are registered in the Republic of Tajikstan.
The affected companies are Allied services, Eagle Enterprise, Icon Aviation and Fly African Aviation with registration EY-334, EY-433,EY-627,EY-448,EY-724, EY-473,EY-387,EY-326,EY-938.
“Aircrafts which belong to the mentioned companies are allowed to operate and their suspension shall come into force on Tuesday 11th 2023.” Said Madut
The ministrer said companies operating with the aircrafts have been given time to enable South Sudanese who had booked in advance be able to reach their destination.
South Sudan’s government accuses some of the companies of having forged documents
Madut called on South Sudan Civil Avaiation Authourity and all state airports/airfileds administration to execute and implement the order.
