Fire put off at ministry of transport building

The Wednesday morning fire that burnt part of the building of the ministry of transport has been successfully put off by the fire brigade according to government officials.

The cause of the fire is still unknown as the government says it’s carrying out investigations. More details to follow.

The same building also houses the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development.

The Undersecretary in the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development, Engineer, Louis Kwot Akolith said there were no casualties as a result of the fire outbreak at the facility.
