Community Empowerment for Progress Organization welcomes the outcome of the 6th Governors forum, 2022. Major concerns CEPO have are centered on the effective implementation of the adopted 6th Governors forum resolutions following the experiences of failure in implementing the previous Governors forum resolutions and recommendations.
Mr. Edmund Yakani, Executive Director of CEPO says it is good that the president is fully aware of the public concern about the lack of effective implementation of the previous as the president expressed in his closing speech of the 6th Governors forum in Juba. CEGF will be civic engagement on generating effective and influential advocacy and lobbying for genuine implementation of the governors’ forum resolutions and recommendations. CEGF will be established in each state and administrative area for oversight observation of the states and administrative areas leadership’s commitment to the genuine implementation of the governor’s forum resolutions and recommendations. Mr. Yakani stressed
CEPO calls upon the state governors and administrative administrators of administrative areas to adopt specific plans for implementing the 6th Governor Forum outcomes.
