Basketball win creates huge joy for the youngest nation in Africa

Hundreds of fans gather at Juba International Airport to welcome the South Sudan National Basketball Team after beating the Egyptian team 97 to 77 approximately. The team has made it to their first-ever FIBA World cup.
The National Minister of Environment and Forestry Josephine Napon took to her official Facebook page to congratulate the team for the win.
“Thank you for beating those who wanted to dredge our Nile,” she said adding, “Well deserved! Congratulations boys. We are so proud of you.”
The national basketball team also known as the Bright stars played against other qualifiers such as Senegal 83 to 75, and 82 to 61 D.R Congo respectively.
