The South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) has announced that all international departing flights at Juba International Airport are now operating from the newly inaugurated International Terminal 3.

The authority said the transition from Terminals 1 and 2 was completed in coordination with international airlines to ensure uninterrupted operations and a smooth travel experience.

Passengers are advised to confirm their departure terminal with their respective airlines before travelling to the airport.

To strengthen aviation security, access to Terminal 3 is now limited to ticketed passengers and authorised airport personnel. Family members and other well-wishers will not be allowed inside the terminal, while only the travelling passenger will be permitted to complete the check-in process.

The SSCAA also urged passengers to arrive early and carry valid travel documents to facilitate security screening and check-in.

According to the authority, the new measures align with international aviation security standards and are intended to enhance safety, security, and operational efficiency at Juba International Airport.
