South Sudan, United States Discuss Bilateral Relations and Electoral Progress
South Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Amb. Dr. James Pitia Morgan, held a bilateral meeting with the United States Ambassador to South Sudan, H.E. Michael J. Adler, to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations, areas of mutual cooperation, and efforts to further deepen the longstanding partnership between South Sudan and the United States. The two sides also exchanged views on progress toward South Sudan’s upcoming general elections.
During the meeting, Dr. Morgan congratulated Ambassador Adler on the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States and reaffirmed South Sudan’s appreciation for the continued partnership and engagement between the two nations.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both countries to maintaining close diplomatic relations and advancing cooperation on shared priorities.
