FINANCE BILL WITHDRAWAL:

President William Ruto gives in to pressure from the people to rescind the Finance proposed bill 2024,which implies that a special meeting of the National Assembly must be called within seven days.

Speaking at the State House, President Ruto declared he would not sign the bill into law after listening to Kenyans who had overwhelmingly opposed it. He was accompanied by supportive members of parliament.
