Commercial boat carrying fuel catches fire at Gabat port

The National Police Spokesperson Maj. General Daniel Justine Bola has said investigation on the fire outbreak that consumed the boat during loading is underway.
A boat caught fire in Gabat early Wednesday morning as fuel and goods were loaded.
“They were loading fuel as a result fire caught the boat and all the loaded items got burnt to level,” he said.
“We have opened a case, we are investigating what led to the fire,” he said.
The items that were loaded were all consumed in the fire.
