Check B Magic to sue DJ Cent for brand rights infringement

Check B Magic, the “SOKO” hitmaker and founder of the Able Disabled Organization (ADO) has said his legal team is in the process of filing a lawsuit against DJ Cent, Mr. No Rest for image and brand rights infringement, defamation among others.

This is after DJ Cent made a Facebook post offering a free audio for Check B Magic in his audio for what he calls “silence” of Check B in the music industry for quite long now.

“….Am giving a chance to #CHECK B The #SOKO hit maker, to record one song for free in #BLG RECORDS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So guys if any of you see CHECK B tell him this!
He is one of our talented brother in the game..
I missed him in the game and we need him back to the game ✌✌
The song SOKO was a hit in most of the countries in Africa but because of no good support That’s why he went quite🇸🇸🇸🇸…

BLG RECORDS is for everybody….

I love you #CHECK B…,” partly reads a statement published by DJ Cent on his Facebook Saturday last week

However, in response, on Sunday, Check B Magic published the following statement:
“After thorough deliberation with my Legal Team, we have all concurred with filing a law suit (Legal Procedures) against the poster below for Image and Brand rights infringement, Defamation and Public negative use of my Name to bizarrely promote his so called Label.

NOTE: We will handle this diplomatically not Violently as stipulated by my Music Team and close relations.”

Analysts also had mixed reactions with some saying there was nothing wrong DJ Cent’s statement and others supporting Check B Magic.

DJ Cent has not responded to the lawsuit filing yet.

South Sudanese artists are fond of creating online beefs to catch attention of their audience.
