The Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State, Tong Aken Ngor has provided humanitarian assistance consisting of food, shelter and medicines to returnees from Sudan.
“I have heard the horrific stories about how the conflict affected them. I assured them that the government of South Sudan together with IGAD is working around the clock to persuade the warring factions to end the war,” Ngor told Journalists last week in Kiir-Adem.
Ngor said that apart from food and medicines, they also delivered clothes to the affected civilians.
He said they have established high-level taskforce charged with resettling the returnees.
