The Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday launched the quality awards 2022 competition for business companies operating in the country.
Lado Lukak, Acting Chairperson for the Chamber of Commerce said the award aims to encourage companies to produce quality services.
“The launch of the quality award will promote quality assurance and Excellencies in business and will also enable the government to know the number of quality goods produced in the Country,” Lukak said during the launch of the awards in Juba.
Lukak said this year’s award categories are 45 which include platinum, gold, silver, and bronze.
“The judge will look at innovativeness and creativity as well as employment of South Sudanese and transparency and accountability while operating,” said Lukak.
Salwa Monytuil, Deputy Chairperson for the Chamber of Commerce, said the competition will improve services to the people.
“We welcome all the willing companies to take part in this competition. It will better service quality of the companies as it creats competition among the companies,” Ms. Monytuil said.
She revealed that they have also launched a website for the chamber.
“We have today launched quality awards 2022 and at the same time the chamber website,” she said.
The launch of the Chamber quality awards 2022 was attended by sponsors, and other private sector development partners.
